<p>However, there still is a common misunderstanding that people have about being skinny and equating this to being in good physical condition.</p>
<p>The incorrectness of this thought was recently illustrated on a popular television show which features celebrities learning how to do ballroom dances. One of the contestants was a model, who fit the media &#8220;ideal&#8221; of how a healthy woman should look. </p>
<p>But, the first thing her dance instructor discovered was that under the svelte exterior there was no muscle tone. The first thing he attempted to do was to help her in building fitness and strength.</p>
<p>In order for the body to start building fitness, the best place to start is to build the strength of the musculoskeletal system by toning and firming the muscles. </p>
<p>Many people do this by utilizing home exercise equipment because of the convenience and time savings they enjoy by having such equipment quickly available to them. </p>
<p>Strength training with the use of weight equipment and free weights can also be very beneficial in building fitness levels. <p>Building fitness in the physical body can be undertaken by simply increasing the amount of activity you get on a daily basis. This can be something as simple as adding 20 minutes of walking per day, or can also include a strenuous workout on commercial fitness equipment. </p>
<p>The experts say that the best thing to do in building overall fitness is to use a combination of exercises. For example, you might want to engage in a brisk walk one day and then the next day make use of weight equipment or some abdominal exercise equipment.</p>

<p>Exercise is actually vital to health. Sedentary lifestyle is one of the main causes of heart and cholesterol problems. By making simple changes and healthier twists to your daily routine and activities, you will be surprised to find out how easy it is to make time for fitness exercise. Below is an outline on how you can actually do just that.</p>
<p>The first thing you should do is write down your daily schedule. Make a list of the activities you do in a day and indicate how much time you spend doing each task. This should guide you in picking the days when you can spend time walking, jogging or other fitness exercise before or after work. </p>
<p>Plan on meeting with some friends to go for a walk on a regular basis. Keeping such appointments is enough motivation for you to stick to a much healthier routine. Even better get a group of your friends together that are always talking about losing weight and start your own biggest losers club where you can help and motivate each other to do better.</p>

<p>If you are the kind of person who can&#8217;t seem to live the day without watching television or would rather squeeze time watching television shows than doing some exercise, why not do both at the same time? It is actually possible. Try laying down an exercise mat and doing some stretching, push-ups and ab crunches instead of curling up the couch munching bags of potato chips. You can do this while catching up the morning news and weather updates. Putting your television in front of your treadmill can keep you unconsciously working out for hours. How&#8217;s that for a trick?</p>
<p>Parking yards away from your building&#8217;s entrance should also give you enough exercise to answer quest for fitness. Parking at the back of your local grocery&#8217;s lot should flex all those muscles in walking and lifting your bags of supplies to your car. Also, try having a &#8220;no car day&#8221; wherein you will be obliged to walk to and from your destinations and errands. The same thing can be done with your elevator habit. If time permits, try hitting the stairs. When you are looking for quick and convenient workout, these simple changes will make a difference. </p>

<p>It is stated in the Bible that our body is our temple. Therefore, it is our obligation to preserve it. For this reason, maintaining the health of both the mind and the body is a noble act. </p>
<p>But of course, this involves a great amount of effort as well as thorough actions. Anyhow, no matter how tough it will be, the fruit is very rewarding. A happy and healthy life, not all is privileged to have it, only the diligent few. </p>
<p>Fitness exercise is very important on ones routine. Through fitness exercise, people are able to fight several diseases. One of which is the killer disease, the heart disease. </p>
<p>Sadly, more and more people nowadays tend to ignore this kind of activity. Hence, more and more people too are suffering from different diseases. No wonder hospital businesses are prospering by gaining lots of clients, even it is against the will of these patients. </p>
<p>In fact, the suggested activities for fitness and health by the Council of the President on Physical Fitness and the Surgeon General are not generally followed by high school students nowadays. This covers the 33 percent of its population throughout the United States. </p>
<p>The attitude of neglecting physical fitness of these youths is usually carried by them as they turn into adulthood. Of course, there will be an increase on the number of sufferers from various diseases caused by weak resistance. </p>

These diseases are actually the five most common causes of deaths yearly as reported by the Center for Disease Control.</p>
<p>Think about it. All of the mentioned common causes of deaths can easily be avoided. But only if people will give enough attention on fitness exercise, much more if they commit themselves into lifetime fitness. But definitely, accidental deaths are excluded. </p>

<p>With obesity becoming an increasingly debilitating condition within the United States, more and more people are concerned with finding a way to prevent it. Establishing a fitness routine to fit within your daily schedule is most recommended by doctors and health professionals. There are many proven reasons to exercise. The top five include: prevention of diseases, longer life, lowering of cholesterol and blood pressure, controlling and maintaining a healthy weight for your body, and improving sleep.</p>
<p>Diseases such as diabetes (specifically type 2), colon cancer, breast cancer and cardiovascular have all been proven to be related to a sedentary lifestyle. Studies have been done which support that a combination of daily physical activity and eating healthy can prevent these diseases.</p>
<p>A study showed DNA cells in those who exercise briskly at least three times a week for 30 minutes each day were nine years younger than people who did not exercise. Regular, daily exercise also improves circulation of blood throughout your body. This can help your body flush out illnesses so you heal quicker, which can also help you digest food and improve your body temperature. Of course, a properly functioning body lives longer.</p>
<p>Regular exercise, such as walking, biking, can help lower triglycerides, low-density lipoproteins (LDL) and excess weight. This can help decrease your cholesterol levels and your blood pressure within two weeks or so. Exercising daily can also help prevent those with pre-hypertension from becoming full-blown hypertension by adjusting your blood pressure to a safer level.</p>
<p>Sleep is important for concentration, better mood, and general efficiency throughout the day. Daily exercise can help your ability to fall asleep faster and achieve a deeper sleep, especially exercising in the morning. Lack of sleep, especially restful sleep, can lead to many issues such as depression, decreased immune systems and lack of concentration. Daily fitness routines can ensure a good, restful sleep.</p>
<p>As mentioned above, obesity is becoming a major issue and concern within the United States. Whether you are moving from a sedentary lifestyle to a more active one, or you exercise a few days a week, moving to a daily fitness routine isn&#8217;t as hard as you might think. With busy lifestyles, it is easier to use time and energy as excuses as to why you can&#8217;t exercise. There are ways to make it fun, enjoyable and only take up a few minutes of your time. You can even fit exercising in while you are seated at your office desk. There are even little adjustments you cane make to your day that can increase your physical activity, and greatly improve your life. The bottom line is the most important. The more calories you burn over your caloric intake, the more weight you will lose. Parking further away from the store so you have to walk more to and from your car, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, calf raises or leg lifts while you&#8217;re standing at work, flexing your abdominal muscles while you&#8217;re sitting at your desk are all examples of fitting exercise into your daily life.&#13;
